Our tour of Ephesus was excellent. Our guide, Banu, was very well informed and provided not only detailed information about the city and Roman society but answered our questions about Turkey today. She was also charming. We selected OTTI/Ephesus Tours based on its informative web site and other travelers' comments. The booking process was easy and efficient. Our cruise ship was docked in Izmir for only 7 hours and we felt that by opting for a private tour we would get the most out of our visit. The guide, with car and driver, met us ship side at our requested time and returned us to the ship five hours later. Overall, the cost was comparable to the price of the bus tour offered by the cruise line but we enjoyed it much more; there's no substitute for the flexibility (for example, stoping at a supermarket instead of a restaurant) and personal attention a private tour provides. We would recommend Ephesus Tours to anyone. We also used them in Istanbul. "

Oz was great. On our cruise, our family had 6 private tours and it was unanimous that Oz was the best of them all. He really took good care of us and even changed the itinerary midstream to suit our needs. My 10 year old daugher also liked Oz and asked that I include it in my review. I would absolutely recommend Oz to anybody visiting Ephesus as he will help make the city come to life. "

Ephesus Tours was everything and more than they advertised. It was a very hot day but the very comfortable van was waiting and cool. Begum was very knowledgeable and flexible so we were able to do exactly what we had hoped plus seeing the local life at the village. The food was very good and served at a place with other locals--not the typical tourist bus buffet. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased. "
